If a bus, large commercial truck or construction equipment is observed to be running its engine while stationary, please contact the Air Management Services Unit at 215-685-7580.
All other vehicles, (cars, pickup trucks, vans, motorcycles, etc.), please report them to the Police Department at 911. Thank you. (mb)
Hi, thanks for reporting.
Clean Air Council is gathering data on idling hot spots to report to Air Management Services, which allows for targeted enforcement. Some of the information that will help is the truck's company, the name of the company it idles outside of, and if this is a recurring place where trucks idle? If so, is there a specific time of day and length of time it often happens?
Thanks for your help in creating a smog free city!
